Day 5 - Anderson to Paso Robles

We are absolutely in California - where they grow their classic volkswagen bugs "super sized" - this special stretch version comes up even longer than our 4 runner.

There is much to contemplate when passing through the Great Empty Middle of California's central valley. Just one of the many stunning sights is the skyline of Sacramento.

This couple was awarded a US Patent for their tie-dye process used in painting camping trailers.

Servers scurry and good food and good times are abundant at Artisan in Paso Robles.

Can't get a better reward at the end of a hard driving day than these churros dipped in molten Mexican spiced chocolate. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
